September 2008 – FRC Home School Expo

Recycling and sewing – a great combination.  Homeschool students learned about sewing while sewing a recycled T-Shirt Tote Bag.  Keeping millions of plastic bags out of landfills and the environment is the cause, sewing recycled used t-shirts into tote bags is the method.

Almost 30 T-Shirt Tote Bags were sewn by homeschool attendees at the Family Resource Center Home School Expo.  Attendees from all over New England enjoyed the 2 day expo.

What a weekend!  Thank you to everyone that stopped by the booth, and to all of the students that took the class.
