Christine learned to sew as a child with her Grandmother
and began sewing in earnest when her first daughter was
born in 1997. Christine is primarily self-taught
and her sewing interests span many areas including
specialty dresses, costumes, children's clothes, home
dec, crafts, and machine embroidery.
Christine earned her BS in Education from The Ohio State
University, and worked as a Recreational Therapist for
8 years. As the owner of "Stolen Time Creations",
Christine worked closely with a local Portsmouth designer
creating one-of-a-kind handbags.
Christine was an active member of the board for the
NH Chapter of the American
Sewing Guild and was the Newsletter Editor since
its inception in 2001 until 2005.

Janith currently runs "Designs by Janith", founded in
1991. Specializing in creating beautiful, custom
designed garments including wedding gowns, bridesmaids
dresses and gowns, special occasion garments, christening
garments, and costumes. Designs also offers Home
Decoration and Alteration Services as well as sewing lessons.
Teaching classes at various sewing related businesses and schools,
Janith strives to bring fun into every stitch, as well as a sense of
accomplishment into every project.
Beginning her sewing at a very early age, Janith has strived to
learn new methods, updated techniques and unique fabric arts as
a self-designed, continuing education.
Janith is a contributor to Threads Magazine as a pattern tester.
Janith was the founder of the NH Chapter
of the American Sewing Guild in 2001, and was President of the chapter
until 2005.
