Our Policies
Our Policies are easy to remember:
Payment Policy:
Payment for our Sewing Series, Vacation Camp, Specialty and Project
classes must be made at time of reservation. These are non-refundable,
but may be applied as a credit towards a future class if cancellation
is received and acknowledged within 7 days of the event. This may give
us time to fill your space and not let the other students down by having
to cancel the class due to class minimums.
Missed Class Policy:
We understand that life is sometimes unpredictable and will try to accommodate
our students the best we can. We appreciate notification if you are unable to
attend a scheduled session – preferably 24 hours. If you are involved
in a Sewing Series, make-ups for missed session can be arranged for arrival
1 hour early for next session to "catch–up" at a fee of 1/2 the individual class
fee. Or, if preferred, a private or semi-private lesson may be arranged for
an additional fee. Refunds are given as vouchers for future classes. For
Private and Semi-Private Lessons, the instructors reserve the right to charge a 1/2
class fee for less than 24 hour notice or 100% payment for a "no–show".
In case of bad weather, please call your instructor to determine if a class is
cancelled or postponed.
If The Sewing Tree cancels any class or event at any time, we will refund any fees
collected or issue credit towards a future class, whichever you prefer.
We want to keep sewing fun and stress free... if you have any questions on our policies,
please ask for clarification.
